Offering Unique hand crafted museum quality Theorem
Paintings
framed in handmade, hand painted frames
By Nancy Rosier of Williamsburg, Virginia
Oil
Paintings
on Velvet Information: This
theorem is based on a museum theorem found in the Rockefeller
collection. The theorem found in the museum was created
between 1833 - 1840.
This
museum adaptation by American Folk Artist Nancy Rosier of
Williamsburg Virginia is certainly very ambitious in size,
in the diversity of the fruits represented and in the attention
given to naturalistic detail.
It
would appear that the original creator of this piece aspired
to unusual heights of artistic sophistication considering
the fundamentally mechanical nature of the stenciling technique.
